Staff Accountant - AR/Billing/Collection/Customer Service

Pay By Touch is leading the introduction of payment systems using fingerprint biometrics in retails stores.
We have an immediate need for an experienced Staff Accountant to be responsible for the accuracy of general ledger balance sheet accounts and the preparation of journal entries to adjust and reclassify balances in the accounts.
Other responsibilities: Analyze, research and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
Review and analyze income statement accounts.
Prepare and adjust monthly journal entries.
Assist in monthly closing process.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS: 2 to 3 years accounting experience, ideally in a fast paced payment processing environment.
In addition you should have 1 to 2 years customer service, collection, billing and Accounts Receivable experience, Solid skills in Microsoft Office Products; Excel, Word.
Exceptional math aptitude (balancing and deposits) Strong analytical skills, accuracy and attention to details are critical.
Excellent written and oral communications skills.
Highly organized, with the ability to multi-task and to meet deadlines.
Experience with Great Plains or software equivalent a plus.
BA/BS in Accounting and/or Finance.
