Staff Accountant
We are seeking an experienced staff accountant Staff Accountant BroderBros., Co. is the largest national distributor of imprintable sportswear in the United States.
We operate 16 distribution centers, strategically located throughout the United States.
Broder Bros., Co. is seeking a Staff Accountant to perform the daily transactional and reconciliation of all bank accounts and credit card transactions.
In addition, this person would perform all monthly bank account reconciliations, general ledger entries, and assist with the general ledger closing process at month end. Responsibilities include: Daily cash management Processing wire transfers Maintenance of due dates for LIBOR contracts Daily reconciliation of credit card processing (Cybercash/Verisign vs. bank activity) Daily reconciliation of lockbox transactions and monitoring of unposted cash receipts Monthly reconciliation of cash accounts Reconciling intercompany cash transactions Processing of web payments by customers Recording & maintaining non-AR cash deposits (PNC Misc) Reconciliation of customer refunds, NSF's, and payroll cash transactions A/R Daily Roll Forwards Perform Month end Accounting Closing procedures Requirements Include: High School Diploma or equivalent required 1-3 years experience required Experience developing internal controls and procedures over cash receipts reporting, reconciliation, and posting.
