Staff Accountant
Staff Accountant, Financial Statement, General Ledger, Reconciliations Staff Accountant - Online Retailer Company Profile Internet marketing company Job Description & Responsibilities Responsible for (i) the reconciliation of deferred advertising revenue, (ii) assist in the month-end and year-end close, (iii) prepare and analyze financial information pertaining to the advertising operations for conformance to company requirements and generally accepted accounting principles, (iv) maintain records and verifies the accuracy of computations, and (v) , work on special projects as needed.
- Prepare month- & year-end closing entries for the General Ledgers.
- Prepare account reconciliations for each month-end on a timely & accurate basis.
- Prepare and post journal entries to record revenue and sales tax, and accrue subscriber receivables and customer discounts.
- Work closely with the accounts receivable department to ensure timely credit postings for under delivered impressions.
- Prepare monthly reconciliations and annual audit schedules - Prepare and input general ledger journal entries.
- Assist with the quarterly/monthly netting of over and under delivered impressions.
Complete special projects, as requested.
Job Requirements - Strong accounting knowledge - Proficiency in Great Plains - Bachelor's degree in Accounting - 3+ years of accounting experience.
