Job Description AIMCO, the nation's largest residential property management company, has an exciting opportunity for a talented Accounting professional to join our corporate headquarters in Denver.
This position is responsible for assisting in the preparation of periodic SEC filings (Forms 10-K and 10-Q) and other external reporting presentations.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, with 4 - 6 years of public accounting experience (combination of both public and private industry).
CPA preferred.
Proven SEC compliance knowledge and experience.
Prior experience with consolidated financial statements.
Prior experience preparing cash flow statements.
Flexibility to adapt to changing project goals.
Willingness to commit time, as needed, to meet quarter- and year-end reporting requirements.
Comfortable working with all levels of management in order to obtain essential information and to follow up as necessary with questions.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Strong proficiency using Microsoft Excel and Word.
Experience with PeopleSoft and Hyperion a plus.
Real estate industry experience preferred.
