Software Configuration management Analyst
Roles and Responsibilities: 1.Programs support the government system modernization projects 2.Individual will implement and conduct software configuration management (CM) and version control of multiple programs in IBM mainframe, MS Windows, and UNIX client/server environments 3.Individual will use , and established, procedures and practices to process and stage transmittals of the software for Systems Acceptability Test and Production 4.Individual will also be responsible for working with the developers to troubleshoot and resolve build issues in a timely manner 5. Understanding of software configuration management concepts, industry practices and standards is a must. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: 1.High School diploma and 9 years overall related experience, 5 years with BA/BS 2.3 years of progressive IT experience, with a focus on software configuration management 3.2 years of software configuration management experience Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration: Experience with any of the following is a plus: 1.ENDEVOR and/or Clearcase experience 2.Experience working in an IBM mainframe and/or UNIX environment 3.Knowledge of current government software application environment
