Senior Tax Researcher/Consultant

LECG (formerly Mack Barclay Inc.) currently has a career opportunity for a Senior Tax Researcher/Consultant in our downtown San Diego office.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to make a change from traditional tax work.
This person will be responsible for the income tax return preparation for bankruptcy estate returns, responding to notices on behalf of bankrupt clients, and assisting the firm's litigation consulting practice with tax research.
In addition, opportunities may also exist to assist with other forensic accounting analyses.
At a minimum, we require: A Bachelors Degree in Accounting 5 years of tax experience CPA Knowledge of Quickbooks A self motivated, independent thinker Good interpersonal skills The desire to work in a fast-paced, challenging consulting environment.
