Senior Tax Accountant
Job Title: Senior Tax Accountant Location: Framingham, MA Status: Permanent Placement , Permanent Placement Reference Code: 32819 Job Category: Accounting/Auditing1 Education Level: Bachelor's Degree Career Level: Experienced (Non-Manager) Relevant Experience: 2-5 yearsSenior Tax Accountant Job Order Number: 28996 Position Description: Our client company is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant for preparation of the consolidated federal and state income tax returns as well as sales tax and other miscellaneous tax returns.
This position will assist in the year end tax provision for the company's financial statement audit and contribute to ongoing tax planning and research projects.
Candidate will also have the opportunity to assist with the federal, state income, and state sales tax audits.
This is a fast paced, busy environment with the opportunity to gain exposure to the different areas of tax accounting.
Candidates must be detail oriented with the ability to stay focused in an area of constant change.
Must have experience preparing consolidated returns and multi-state filings.
Position Requirements: Bachelors degree is required; accounting background is preferred.
Minimum 4 years experience working in a large company setting.
