Senior Accountant
Senior Accountant A world leader in aviation controls is looking for a Senior Accountant to work closely with the Chief Accountant in managing and internal financial reports.
Responsibilities Responsibilities for the consolidation of all Unit's financial information including all consolidation elimination entries.
Preparation and Review of Consolidation financial statements & internal financial reports.
Review of monthly Unit financial statements for accuracy and consistency.
Assist Units with accounting and Oracle issues.
Assist in the preparation of information for quarterly and annual SEC filings.
Work with external auditors on questions and review of SEC reports and other external reporting requirements.
Assist with unit budget and forecast reporting packages, including preparation of corporate budget and forecast information.
Other finance department projects monthly, quarterly, and as needed.
Requirements: Strong Oracle skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Program- Word & Excel.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Strong organization skills.
Must be teamwork oriented with excellent attention to detail.
Bachelor's degree in business or accounting required.
CPA preferred.
Five years of experience in accounting is required.
