Lehman Brothers' Public Finance Department provides investment banking services to a broad range of public sector clients, including state and local governments, federal agencies, public/private consortiums, and others requiring financing for public purpose projects.
The Department is comprised of over 90 bankers with expertise in various sectors including transportation/project finance, utilities/public power, health care, education, housing, and debt strategies.
Lehman Brothers consistently ranks among the top five underwriters of municipal debt in the United States.
Public Finance Associates provide quantitative and analytical support for municipal transactions and assist senior bankers with new business efforts.
Requirements: We seek individuals with strong quantitative and analytical abilities, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Most Public Finance Associates have an advanced degree such as MBA or MPA and/or experience in public finance.
