Our commitment to providing excellent patient care includes ongoing facility improvements.

Some of the recent remodeling and facility improvements have included: an addition of a state-of-the-art Outpatient Surgery Center (SOMA), a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and updated X-Ray and Mammography equipment.

As all of the original structures were ruined in the 1906 earthquake, the oldest building dates back to 1912.

This building houses the chapel, administrative offices and our short stay unit.

In 1970, the main tower opened with a two hundred sixty bed capacity.

St. Luke's rich past also includes a nursing school which for nearly a century, until 1988, offered hospital based nurses training.

Position Summary: Under the supervision of the Director of Ambulatory Serviceds, the Program Manager will be responsible for the day to day operational management of The Skiball Health Center.

During the start-up phase this position requires flexibility including participation in all aspects of office activities.

Successful execution of this position will result in the delivery of innovatiove and cost-effective patient care that meets and/or exceeds expectations of patients, physicians and staff.

In collaboration with the Chief Administrative Office of St. Luke's, the Director of Strategy and Program Development, and the Medical Director of Skiball Health Center , the position is responsible for the development of innovative, evidence-based strategies and plans to improve primary care delivery at St. Luke's.

Working with local service organizations, churches, and businesses in the African American community to conduct community health education seminars and events.

Bachelor's degree required.

Master's degree in healthcare administration, public health or business administration preferred.

Minimum of 3 years previous experience with healthcare management working closely with physicians and clinical staff Strong background in healthcare environment issues and prospects for change required Demonstrated understanding of healthcare finance, delivery of care, and systems required Demonstrated ability to understand, interpret and produce business and financial plans and reports required Should have a passion for social change and a committment to improve healthcare services for the underserved Needs to be organized and be able to keep accurate records Bilingual (Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin or Tagolog) strongly preferred PLEASE APPLY USING THIS BUTTON ONLY
