Program Management Analyst
Responsible for accurate consolidation and analysis of IT Incurred expense and capital expenditures.
Summary: Responsible and accountable for accurate consolidation, closing, and analysis of IT Incurred expense and capital expenditures.
This encompasses monthly and quarterly actual results, annual operating plans and quarterly forecasts.
Advises, trains and consults with various IT department personnel on proper accounting practice (eg accruals and appropriation requests) and use of financial systems.
Prepares timely reporting of metrics and financial reports for IT management and Corporate Finance Organization.
Prepares various financial analyses and ad-hoc reports.
Identifies process improvement opportunities and leads or assists in their implementation.
Prepares consolidated project and organization metrics as defined by the PMO. Supervise one (1) direct report.
Will perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements: - Must have 2-5 years of business and management experience in several of the following areas: business analysis, retail industry, process improvement, contract negotiations, financial management, and expense and capital budget process.
- Possesses advanced understanding and experience with Microsoft software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Project are required.
- Experience with ERP accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Peoplesoft would be a differentiator.
- Must have expert knowledge of daily accounting functions, monthly closings, and annual budget building process.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, PC, verbal and written communication skills are also essential.
- Prior experience managing a direct report is ideal.
- A Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field is required; an advanced degree in these areas is preferred.
Equivalent work experience in these areas or a related field will be considered.
