We're currently looking for a Portfolio Assistant to join our winning team.

Franklin Templeton Portfolio Advisors, Inc. (FTPA) provides management of separate accounts utilizing the global and international value investment strategies offered by Franklin Templeton Investments.

The Portfolio Assistant assists the management of Templeton Portfolio Advisors by providing Portfolio Managers and the Director of the Portfolio Analytics Group a professional level of administrative support and assistance in implementing/managing the various portfolio strategies offered by TPA in various Wrap-Fee programs.

The Portfolio Assistant will also assist with efforts to support Marketing, Client Service and Sales to assist in effectively communicating Templeton's stock selection process, investment philosophy and portfolio activity to our clients and sponsors.

Specific responsibilities include: Provide support to portfolio managers and Portfolio Analytics Group to assure timely review, follow-up, and maintenance of portfolios.

Facilitate and enhance the portfolio management process by performing portfolio analytics using Factset, Bloomberg, Excel, OneTIS, Axys and Moxy.

Assist portfolio managers in their research role by gathering company, country and industry information.

Includes working with portfolio managers and Director to complete a large number of ad-hoc projects used in due diligence meetings and to support Portfolio Management and Sales & Marketing.

Assist Portfolio Managers and Director in preparing for conference calls and meetings, including developing and maintaining presentation materials.

Coordinate with Trading, Portfolio Administration, and Account Service to address issues that may impact the management of client and prospective client portfolios.

Liaise with Legal and Legal Compliance, RFP Group, Global Equity Group Research Technology, Performance and Risk Management to address existing and new policies as they relate to the management of TPA portfolios.

Perform general clerical and office duties such as filing, answering phone calls, setting up meetings and conference calls, completing expense reports and making travel arrangements.We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications: Bachelor's degree in finance related field and/or related equivalent experience.

General understanding of banking/finance/securities industries and/or portfolio accounting preferred.

Investment industry experience strongly preferred.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Advanced Excel skills required.

Proficiency in Word and PowerPoint a must.

Ability to organize and prioritize workflow and to coordinate the work of others.

Ability to adhere/respond to established time frames and schedules.

Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced, team environment.
