Payroll Supervisor: Precision Drilling Corporation
Payroll Supervisor - Must have supervisory and SAP experience.
Precision Drilling - HoustonPrecision Drilling operates a fleet of 161 high-quality rigs in the United States under both daywork and turnkey contracts.
Focusing on the most prolific natural-gas producing regions, Precision provides crews and equipment to drill vertical wells to 30,000 feet as well as horizontal and directional wells to tap tight sands and shale.
Payroll SupervisorIn the position of Payroll Supervisor the individual will be responsible for the following: Assist Manager as needed; Supervision of staff; Learning all phases of hourly and salary data entry and the subsequent processing of the various division payrolls; Approving third party payments; Learning and applying Precisions policies, IRS and state guidelines and Labor Standards for various states; Maintain Payroll Procedures documentation; Conduct employee performance reviews; and, Working with Precision's Lotus Notes system and the various payroll related databases.
Will supervise a small to medium sized payroll group as well as special project groups.
The successful applicant will possess the following qualifications: The ideal candidate will have 5 - 10 years experience in Payroll and have experience in a supervisory capacity.
SAP HR Payroll experience required.
Must be familiar with all state requirements and payroll legislation for US. Should be proficient in an MS Windows environment and possess above average Excel skills.
The candidate should also demonstrate the ability to work in a team environment with excellent organizational and communication skills.
A strong orientation to detail and a willingness to learn and take additional training are required.
