Manager - Fraud Department
Our Lakewood, Colorado based Customer Care Center is an international money transfer company which is responsible for moving money around the world.
We are a fast-paced, 24-hour, 7-day a week telephone center, supporting many customers in many countries.

Manager, Fraud Department This position is responsible for the management of the fraud department and its staff members to ensure efficient and productive operations.
This includes effective supervision of the staff, performance appraisals, scheduling, department meetings, up-training and guidance.
Candidate will analyze existing controls and procedures, additional training and communication with call center staff and other internal staff, requesting changes in the MoneyGram system via submitting ITRs, sending fraud alerts to sales staff and agents and other proactive steps.
To effectively manage the Fraud Dept., the candidate must possess a thorough understanding of fraud scams and scenarios and research and investigative skills.
The Fraud Department manager keeps abreast of and analyzes current fraud schemes in order to recommend changes to MoneyGram, and serves as a knowledgeable resource to staff in the Fraud Prevention Department, MoneyGram employees and managers in other departments.
Qualifications include: BA/BS Business or related field 5 years in a Fraud management position 5+ years management experience in a Fraud Dept management or supervisory position.
Proven track record with positive results in reducing fraud losses.
Proficiency in PC software, Excel, Word, Outlook, Access Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to positively interact with all levels of management, agents, customers and co-workers as well as external contacts such as law enforcement.
Strong interpersonal, telephone, customer service skills, including ability to interact with various cultures and backgrounds Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, analytical skills Presentation skills to publicly spearhead executive level discussions or off-site agent training sessions Strong time management skills, including the ability to effectively prioritize work assignments with changing priorities Some travel required MoneyGram employees enjoy a competitive compensation and benefits package and the opportunity for personal and professional growth.
