Information Systems Audit Project Manager
Amazing opportunity as a Information Systems Audit Consultant ABOUT US: Control Solutions International, a dynamic internal audit-consulting firm with offices in the Greater Boston, Chicago and San Francisco areas, is seeking an experienced senior-level auditor to join our growing team as a Project Manager.
Control Solutions works with fast growing innovative Fortune 1,000 companies throughout the US and in more than 20 countries around the world.
This position is responsible for performing audits to assess the adequacy of internal controls and the accuracy of data using specialized knowledge of accounting, auditing, networks, operating systems and electronic data processing.
Attest to the integrity, operational effectiveness and efficiency of the client's information systems including servers, mainframes, workstations and telecommunications.
Determine the the level of compliance with policies and procedures, state and federal laws, and contractual obligations (e.
g., software licenses) regarding privacy and security in data processing.
In collaboration with the client's Information Technology Manager, this individual will investigate IT security incidents and identify vulnerabilities that exist in the client's network environment and systems.
Provide support to the our consultants and the clients finance audit staff in the development and implementation of computer-assisted audit techniques and provide assistance on IT matters related to financial audit engagements.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in business administration, with a concentration in accounting, finance and/or computer science, is required.
MBA preferred.
A CPA, CIA and/or CISA designation with four years experience as an IT auditor, and two years as a financial auditor is preferred.
A minimum of five years public accounting, IT auditing, accounting and/or consulting experience, and three years project management experience.
Knowledge of accounting and auditing standards, business law, internal controls, sound business and management practices.
Must possess a sufficient knowledge of network environments and computer systems comparable to those of Fortune 1,000 companies (HP3000, Unix, Windows, Macintosh, Sun, SGI).
Strong oral and written communication skills are necessary to interact with all levels of management and staff.
The position requires 25-75% travel, domestic and international.
