We currently have an opening for an In-Store Banker in our Artesia and Irvine location.
As an In-Store Banker, you will be responsible for opening new accounts and cross-selling East West Bank products, as well as performing other day-to-day customer transactions, including cashing checks, processing deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and other financial requests.
Required Skills: - Effective communication and strong interpersonal skills - Effective selling, cross-selling and referral skills - Proven commitment to quality customer service - Previous cash handling experience - Sound mathematical, problem solving and negotiation skills - Bi-lingual Mandarin, Cantonese, Vietnamese or Tagalog Preferred Skills: - College degree or equivalent work experience - Previous banking experience - Previous retail experience Position requires flexibility to work weekends and some holidays.
