Government Accounting Team Leader
Government Accounting Team Leader Job Description: Candidate will be a member of a team that acts as liaison with DCAA and Corporate Internal Auditors.
This position will require blending accounting and auditing knowledge, e.
g., GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley, and financial statements with government accounting and regulatory requirements such as FAR and CAS. Candidate must understand general business and accounting operating principles.
Required Skills: Support government audits by performing research and analyses, and coordinating requests with multiple departments.
Position requires strong project management skills and notable presentation and writing skills.
Candidate must have thorough understanding of GAAP and have experience in accounting operations in order to perform required research on accounting and cost issues.
In addition, the candidate must demonstrate effective time management skills.
6-10 years of experience required.
Desired Skills: Familiarity with FAR / CAS; CPA preferred.
Required Education (including Major): BA/BS Accounting Location in Garland, TX.
