Finance Assistant
Perform general accounting and administrative functions for Body & Soul Omnimedia, inc. Encompasses, but is not limited to: Advertising accounts receivable: Prepare and send bills to advertising clients Track advertising AR aging, making collection calls when necessary Maintain complete records for all transactions, changes and adjustments Respond to billing questions from clients and sales staff Monthly financial close: Prepare monthly journal entries Prepare and maintain management reports Help to reconcile accounts Accounts Payable: Code all administrative invoices Review all invoices for proper coding and signatures, log invoices and send to NY office Use Peoplesoft to track invoices and payments and respond to vendor inquiries General: Assist staff in preparing expense reports Assist with copying, filing, creating of presentations or other documentation Provide back up to Office Manager ie answering phones, sorting and posting mail, manage office and equipment maintenance vendors, deal with any overnight delivery problems Assist General Manager Martha Stewart Living offers a creative and inspiring environment in which you can share ideas, develop and implement a fine aesthetic.
