Job Details: This position will assist in directing all centralized sourcing and contracting for in support of the Company's global gaming strategic sourcing, purchasing, distribution, and e-procurement strategy by aligning with key business unit executives.

The position will report to the Vice President, Gaming , be domiciled in Las Vegas, NV, and will manage 1-2 individuals (associate, manager).

The category accounts for approximately $300M+ (gaming only) in annual spend and is inclusive of all product classes of gaming, electronic gaming, table games, surveillance, gaming systems, sports systems, operating supplies relating to gaming, and other expenses.

The successful candidate will lead cross-functional sourcing teams to obtain a result that provides the optimal balance of internal/external customer support, executive direction, product/service value, and speed to market consideration.

Additionally, the individual will conceive and utilize contract development strategies with the objective of maintaining Harrah's leverage and flexibility while reducing the overall operation risks.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: ·Developing, implementing, maintaining, governing, and reporting the gaming products/services sourcing strategy ·Developing processes and techniques for targeting sourcing efforts for most appropriate gaming products/services for enhancing shareholder value by performing analysis, baselines, make-buy, and total cost of ownership models ·Integrate and manage the activities of global and regional sourcing efforts worldwide ·Reviewing and assessing product/service needs and ensuring alignment of the gaming product/service procurement programs to the strategic, business and product plans of the Company ·Collecting and analyzing market intelligence about gaming suppliers and products/services, and using such information to develop and/or improve sourcing solutions ·Preparing requests for proposals ("RFPs") and analyzing supplier responses ·Developing, facilitating, and presenting a process for supplier segmentation, gaming supplier evaluation, selection and measurement; coordinating this decision process with the Corporate Gaming Operations Stakeholders and Contracts Approval Team members ·Initiating, negotiating, implementing and managing manufacturer and distribution agreements ·Measuring supplier performance and managing critical product/service/supplier issues ·Preparing suppliers for, and transitioning suppliers to, new business/procurement processes utilizing e-procurement ·Continually monitoring and assessing "total cost" implications of gaming products/services SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Yes QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
