Responsibilities: The objective of this position is to approve or decline credit orders in accordance with established policies , practices and procedures in a manner that will result in maximum sales, sound receivables, and the prompt conversion of receivables into cash with a minimum of past due accounts.
The position applies this to the credit and collection requirements of a designated number of accounts within specified dollar limits or normal credit lines.
The position has full authority within approved policies, procedures, standards and defined limits on credit and collection matters within the area of responsibility.
The position maintains working relationships with operating personnel of other departments concerned with the analyst's accounts, primarily for the purpose of giving and obtaining information and working jointly on customer problems.
They will initiate contacts and maintain close, harmonious relationships with customers and outside interests.
This position requires very little direct day to day supervision and works mostly independently reporting directly to the Sr. Manager, Credit and Collection.
Requirements: 5+ years credit and collections experience in the technology industry Ability to read and interpret Dun and Bradstreet and Experian Credit reports.
Must be able to use MS Excel and Word.
Ability to perform extensive financial statement analysis.
Proficient personal computer skills including: Excel, Word, Visio, and Oracle.
