Buyer / Planner 2 Plastics

Responsibilities as the Buyer/Planner will be: - Production Material Procurement (MRP, ECOs, MRB, etc) - Identify and Deliver on Cost Savings Opportunities - Supply Chain Risk Analysis & Management - Supplier Management (Cost, Quality & Delivery Performance Reviews) - Contracts (Strategy Development, Negotiation & Compliance Management) - Compliance to Procurement Policies & Procedures This position requires: - Knowledge of Best Practices related to responsibilities listed above - Problem Solving: Ability to quickly analyze problems, investigate and determine solutions - Negotiations: Ability to negotiate favorable pricing and key terms and conditions.
- Ability to Deliver Professional Presentations to Senior Management - Ability to organize and manage many projects simultaneously - Strong planning and procurement proficiency in a major ERP system (SAP, Oracle, Baan, PeopleSoft, etc) - Excellent oral and written communication skills - Proficiency in MS Office applications Additional Desired Skills: - Experience with Custom Plastics Procurement is highly desirable - Proficiency in SAP (Purchasing & Planning modules) - Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) Certification - Experience in the Biotechnology sector To apply for the position, click here
