Business Development Analyst: Interbake Foods LLC
Job Responsibilities: The Business Development Analyst will ensure retail net sales growth by serving as a field sales customer expert and providing analytical support/expertise to Sales Team, Customers and Corporate.
· Market Analysis leveraging IRI, Nielsen, Industry Research to support customer presentations, internal updates and category planning · Leverage Shopper Insight data, Retailer Card data, etc to provide product trends and customer trends analysis to both retail selling team and to Strategy/Innovation team · Closely analyze retail account POS (retail link, portal data, etc) data to optimize programs and identify customer opportunities.
Proactively develop refined reporting tools.
· Monitor Industry and Customers for trends to identify competitive threats, opportunities and recommended IBF course of action · Understand and Identify P&L optimization opportunities by turning insight into action.
Provide post-performance analysis against key customer promotions.
· Ad Hoc responsibilities include o Assist in planning and organizing of sales meetings, quarterly reviews, etc. o Develop and maintain knowledge and skills in new and current industry/software and data Job Qualifications: · Bachelor degree required · 1-3 years selling experience with some direct account and/or retail involvement is strongly preferred.
· Candidate has proven analytical skills, computer proficiency, and experience working with ACNielsen data, Retail Link, Partners Online, Optura or other customer based POS information.
· Strong communication skills · Analytical skills with ability to turn insights into action · Results orientated with a strong bias for action.
