At Cisco, Discover All That's Possible For Your Career Bus Process Design Program Mgr The Deal Management Simplification (DMS) initiative is a company wide BPOC sponsored initiative focused on integrating systems and processes from Opportunity to Booking.

DMS will drive radical simplification of the end-to-end deal management process, enabling the following four capabilities by customer segment: - Simplify the bundling of product, service and Cisco Capital into one proposal.

- Enable an efficient, effective deal approval and control process.

- Vastly reduce deal management end-to-end cycle time.

- Dramatically improve our partner and customer buying experience.

The DMS initiative is a Global and Cross Functional initiative with significant strategic impact to Cisco.

The ideal candidate will have an excellent track record of improving business processes within Cisco.

Partners closely with business users across Sales, Marketing, CA and QTC systems to evaluate business requirements including recommending business process re-engineering to support the DMS Assure to Approve processes.

Acts lead analyst working with the business and technical teams to develop business requirements deliverables and proposed solutions for clients in the area of Deal Management.

Must have the ability to build relationships with clients and counterparts across the Sales Finance and Sales team to align requirements with the recommended to-be business architecture and other strategic priorities.

Must be able to assess business problems and develop conceptual models for standardized processes and decision support to analyze and work with project teams to build executive level business cases to support prioritization and funding.

Additionally, you will: - Understand and leverage your knowledge of the complexities and interdependencies of business processes, data and systems; - Advocate solutions that maintain the integrity of business processes solve real problems in an architecturally sound manner; - Ability to manage a project from start to finish and achieve all milestones while delivering the expected results; - Experience with data analysis and modeling techniques; - Applied Knowledge of the DMAIC approach to analysis and project management process improvement; - Ability to gather analyses and prioritize business requirements; - Ability to evaluate and sell alternative solutions, effectively influencing outcomes; - Partners with client groups, taking ownership of their objectives to achieve business results; - Ability to lead and influence others in a cross functional, fast paced environment; - Strong team player, can lead or collaborate, able to resolve complex issues in a team environment; - Perform in-depth requirements and data analysis and presentation; - Requires BS/CS/Business or equivalent, MBA desired.

- 5+ years related industry experience in process development, program and/or project management, including needs assessment, business case creation, scope definition and project planning - Strong program and project management experience - Strong understanding of the principals of change management - Demonstrated ability to influence peers, cross-functional partners and management - Good familiarity with current Cisco IT practices and process - Strong attention to detail - Ability to think out-of-the-box - Good coordination and communication skills - Proven experience in designing and redesigning business processes; - May provide consultation to users; - Partners with client groups, taking ownership of their objectives to achieve business results.

BA/BS degree with 8 years related experience.

Proven knowledge and experience in designing and redesigning business processes.

Provide consultation to users.

Ability to be a technical resource.
