Billing Product Specialist, Asia Pacific/Latin America - Mountain ViewThis position is based in Mountain View, CA. We're looking for a dynamic, high energy individual to help grow our APLA Core Product Specialist Team.

As a key member of the sales team, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in international online billing/payments systems, with direct experience in the Asia Pacific or Latin American markets.

Candidates will serve as a critical advocate for local billing needs within Google's Product Management and Engineering teams.

Candidates should possess very strong communication, organizational and project management skills and thrive in a complex, fast- paced, team-oriented environment.

This is a challenging position in a fast paced Sales environment with international scope and responsibility.

Responsibilities: Manage APLA region billing and payments prioritization process and priority list ensuring strong strategic rationale are put forth to validate requests and tradeoffs.

Support and potentially lead local market research efforts regarding payment and billing systems, structures, services, and issues with the objective of using this information to prioritize and guide product development requests, process design and policy design for local APLA markets.

Support the start-up of new sales channels and new local markets in APLA by ensuring payment systems and methods are in place to support business operation.

Serve as key liaison with cross-functional teams (finance, compliance, APLA sales, engineering, product management) to help define and implement local billing policies and practices.

Structure and provide appropriate updates on APLA billing and payments issues, product roll outs and developments to APLA executive team.

Work with internal support teams to collect, track and manage to resolution local billing/payment bugs and support issues.

Ability to travel up to 25%.

Requirements: University Degree Essential (Accounting background preferred but not necessary).

Advanced (MBA or CPA) degrees a plus.

Written and spoken fluency in English.

Chinese, Portuguese or Spanish a plus.

3+ years experience in international, electronic billing, banking, financial services or online payments systems/development in an APLA region.

Technology consulting a plus.

Familiarity with Oracle or similar financial systems.

Excellent communication skills and ability to speak to both technical and business stakeholders and users.

Excellent analytical skills.

Proficient computer applications skills (MS Office - Outlook, Excel, Access, PowerPoint - and Dreamweaver etc).

Ability to work independently on project deliverables, yet communicate and share project updates with team members.

Proven track record of hands on project management experience and proven leadership.

Demonstrated experience in successfully advocating customer needs.
