Ingersoll Rand Climate Control Technologies Sector is seeking an experienced Billing Clerk for our Bridgeton, MO location.

Posting Date: 8/20/06 POSITION SUMMARY: Generate customer billings in a timely and accurate manner and work with accounts receivables in account resolution.

Provide first pass analysis and report information of the job cost for managers.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Accurately prepare customer invoices.

Review Billed Sales report and properly record job costs.

Track costs of the job throughout the project such as material, committed vs. actual and report to the sales personnel on a timely and accurate basis.

Review all open jobs and ensure that all jobs are properly billed to the customer.

Capture change orders, properly bill additional costs and capture data on the Job Opening Sheet.

Perform reconciliations of the 2103, 2108 and 2160 accounts and other various accounts as assigned.

Analyze all outstanding accruals and ensure items are being properly recorded.

Ensure proper sales tax applied to invoicing generated.

Review freight invoices and ensure correction application to all jobs.

Excellent entry level position in an accounting environment.

Position builds good base knowledge in order to develop skills to progess in the department.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma required, degree preferred.

Excellent verbal and written communications skills, organizational skills, mathematical skills, detail oriented and highly motivated.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting/billing environment.

Ability to write reports and correspondence.

Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel and mainframe.

Lotus Notes, PowerPoint, Access experience desired.

Ability to work in a team environment and desire for continuous learning through cross-training.
