Bi-Lingual (Spanish) Claims Clerk
Position Type: Full Time PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: „ÏMaintain excellent communication with client „ÏProvide reports to clients reconciling the request process with the payment process.
„ÏWork closely with Finance to manage the Aging Payables account.
„ÏCreate and maintain insured¡¦s accounts in claims processing system.
„ÏProcess and adjust claims „ÏReprice claims „ÏAnswer provider calls regarding claims status.
„ÏRequest and reconcile funds with clients.
Requirements KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
1. Fluency in written and spoken Spanish is necessar
2. Level of knowledge generally obtained through high school plus three years of work experience in an office environment.
3. Other general skills include data-entry, typing, word processing, spreadsheet knowledge and office procedures.
4. Knowledge of medical and billing terminolog
5. Knowledge of CPT and ICD9 codin
6. Critical thinking skills and creative problem solving skills are require
7. Ability to adapt well to change.
8. Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information.
9. Good interpersonal skills.
10. Ability to relate to health care professionals here and in foreign countries as well as international patients and their families.
11. Customer service oriented.
