Audit Manager - Financial Svcs.
Job Description The individual will be a member of our team of professionals who deliver quality services to our financial services clients in the insurance and capital markets industires.
He/she will be expected to take a consultant's approach to the attest/assurance process of a client's operation utilizing the new audit methodology.
This includes risk assessment, planning, "review by interview" and analytical procedures.
The individual will also be a client advisor, demonstrate industry expertise, leverage client relationships, promote the expansion of services, and be responsible for staff development.
Deliver quality service to a variety of top-tier clients primarily in the insurance or capital markets industry (we have clients in both practices).
Continually develop new ways to help these clients solve their ever increasing complex business problems in an ever increasing and changing global environment.
Service Assurance Industry Financial Services (FS) Office St. Louis MO Years Experience Required 6 - 10 Education Required Bachelor's degree, CPA and 5 + years of experience specializing in financial services, specifically the capital markets, insurance or banking industries.
Job Requirement Essential The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6+ years current public accounting experience with at least one year at the management level in a Big 4 national firm, top local firm or prior major company that has a strong audit client base.
PwC will consider a candidate with prior Big 4 audit experience with at least one year at the management level.

CPA certification is required.
