Associate Operations Coordinator – COM00126
Description Job Summary Provides administrative and operational support to the Group and Annuities State Filing Unit in accordance with established systems and procedures.
Excellent opportunity to get exposure to law and compliance matters.
Main Accountabilities Participates in the filing process for by ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks such as ordering checks, determining Flesch scores, preparing electronic files, handling correspondence, and maintaining reports.
A good part of the job entails navigating our web-based electronic filing system in order to set up filings or obtain information.
Some legal research involved.
A small portion of the incumbent's time may involve duties typical of an administrative assistant, such as ordering supplies.
Qualifications Some college or professional training or equivalent experience required.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Candidate must have excellent telephone and organizational skills, as well as a customer service focus.
Must be a self starter, thorough, able to work independently as well as within a team environment, able to handle several projects simultaneously, and able to perform well under pressure.
Attention to detail a must.
Successful candidate will have a strong work ethic and 1-2 years of progressively responsible work history.
Must be able to adapt quickly to a changing technological environment.
PC skills required include WORD and EXCEL.
Familiarity with SERFF, Oracle, and Access a plus.
