Assistant Traders will spend supervised time working on a domestic exchange floor or trading desk, performing all front-office functions for the traders.

The specific duties will include, but will not be limited to, producing reports for risk managers, inputing system parameters to generate quotes, and assisting the market maker in maintaining an orderly market through matching tickets, maintaining positions, and producing Profit & Loss reports.

Assistants will be reviewed regularly, and based on their performance, may be invited to enter our formal training program to become traders for SIG. This position is available domestically in Chicago, New York, and the Philadelphia Area and internationally in Dublin, Ireland and Sydney, Australia.

Qualifications & SkillsExceptional quantitative and analytical skills.

Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Undergraduate degree preferred.

An interest in financial markets.

A team orientation with the confidence to act autonomously.
