Assistant IT Auditor – INT00010
Description Job Summary Internal Auditing is a professional activity with the purpose of assisting management in controlling and evaluating the Company's operation.
This position reports to the Director, IT Auditing.
For each assignment, the Assistant IT Auditor works under the direction of one of the other IT or Operational Auditors on the team.
Main Accountabilities The Assistant IT auditor's responsibilities include: Primarily Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 testing, Supporting audit reviews as directed (eg IT Operating Environment audits; reviewing application systems; and from time-to-time developing Computer Assisted Audit Techniques).
Exercises sound professional judgment in assessing risks Evaluates the internal control environment Interprets results in order to determine the issues and associated risks Discusses audit findings and facilitates the development of action plans with management Assists in preparing the first draft audit report.
Qualifications This position requires a college degree and a minimum combination of 1 - 2 years audit and IT experience.
In addition, staff should demonstrate strong technical and analytical abilities and willingness to obtain professional designation (ie Certified Information Systems Auditor).
