Job Summary: The primary function of accounts receivable is to provide financial, clerical and administrative services to ensure efficient, timely and accurate payment of accounts.

Accounts receivable relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform primary job functions.

A limited degree of creativity and latitude is required to plan and accomplish goals.

Typically reports to supervisor or manager.

Summary of Essential Job Functions

Process & setup new customer accounts; maintain customer files; prepare proposals & contacts for waste removal & disposal services Process sales orders, sales receipts and invoices Collections, receive payments, file invoices, deposits & corresponding accounts receivable paperwork Research customer inquiries and reconcile disputes Prepare reports for pending sales & open sales orders, flagged accounts & sales audits Prepare letters, mailing labels and outgoing mail using postage meter; perform general maintenance of the facility and office equipment Provide support duties to the organization as needed

Minimum Requirements: Requires high school diploma or its equivalent Minimum two years accounts receivable or general accounting experience Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook Proficient in Intuit Quick
