Accountant II
Position Summary: As an integral member of US Nets Finance department, the Accountant is responsible for facilitating daily accounting activities and assisting other members of the US Nets Finance team.
Responsibilities
1. Responsible for recording and monitoring cross channel promotion revenues and expenses, BBC America Representation fee for Ad sales, Transponder expenses, Music Rights expenses, accrue outstanding invoices & make necessary P&L and balance sheet adjustment as needed.
2. Responsible for updating & allocating direct G&A expense across the Networks.
3. Responsible for uploading equity joint venture monthly financials into SAP and facilitate reconciliation between such financials and SAP[^%dot%^
4. Responsible for calculating Music Rights license fee for the division and submit check request for payment.
5. Responsible for preparing a monthly reporting package for BBC-A networ
6. Responsible for billing BBC-A on quarterly basis for management fee & chargeback expenses incurred during the period.
7. Assist in the preparation of the 5 years business plan & reforecast.
8. Participates in the monthly P&L review with US Nets directors.
9. Responsible for reconciling numerous balance sheet accounts and provide supporting documentation for significant balances on a monthly basis.
10. Responsible for creating a supplemental financial analysis using Business Warehous
11. Assist company auditors with quarterly, interim and year-end reviews/audits.
12. Assist Director, Financial Reporting with monthly and quarterly financial schedules and analyses, including investigation of significant fluctuations in account balances.
13. Responsible for submitting check requests for the division as neede
14. Responsible for investigating intercompany out-of-balance issues and resolving the

16. Perform other analysis as assigned by managemen
17. Establish & maintain relationship with accounting personnel & corporate grou
18. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in accounting.
CPA or CPA candidate.
* Four to five years general ledger accounting experience and demonstrated understanding of accounting principles & concepts.
* Big Four experience is ideal and CPA is highly preferred * Excellent written and verbal skills; ability to frame issues, articulate findings and present and implement optimal solutions * Willingness to adopt and implement accounting and control best practices * Ability to analyze financial activities * High integrity individual.

Excellent problem solving skills * Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight closing deadlines set by corporate * A strong work ethic and ability to handle multiple tasks * Proficiency in spreadsheet and other data analysis techniques.
Strong working knowledge of financial software packages and Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with SAP a plus.
