Accountant
POSITION DESCRIPTION Responsibilities include: - Revenue accounting - reconcile distributor sell-thru and inventory reports with CMD records - record revenue, cost of sales and deferred margin - shipment cutoff testing - Support accounting manager with international subsidiary accounting - Fixed asset accounting - Perform bank account reconciliations - Cash applications - Franchise, property and sales and use taxes - Other accounting analysis as needed COMPETENCIES This job requires broad accounting knowledge, an attention to detail, strong analytical skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, good interpersonal skills and a strong team player with high level of integrity.
INCUMBENT QUALIFICATIONS Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
Experience and Training: Familiarity with an automated ERP accounting system, preferably Oracle.
Strong knowledge of Excel.
Some knowledge of Access preferred.
Minimum of two years experience in an accounting position.
Physical Efforts and Skills: This position does not involve physical exertion, and so no particular physical skills are required, aside from the manual dexterity needed to operate a computer.
