Account Reconciliation Specialist Job in Centennial 80111, Colorado US
You will be responsible for review and reconciliation of accounts in Cochlear's reimbursement billing system to ensure consistency with Oracle.
You for understand and correct differences in transactional activity between the systems.
Accountability 1: Reconciliation of claims between billing and financial systems
Review claims in Cochlear's reimbursement system (Brightree BT) and ensure balances are consistent with the financial system (Oracle).
Specialist will be required to make updates to the system to ensure transactional activity in both systems is the same.
Reconcile activity including: Cash posting
Understanding of how to read and reconcile an insurance explanation of benefits
To be successful, this team member must be incredibly detail oriented and have a good working knowledge of computer systems and excel.
Accountability 2: Daily Processes
Responsible for running the daily processes which push information from Oracle into Brightree.
Prepare the daily worklist used by the reimbursement orders team to manage and prioritize daily open orders.
Update customer account level details in Oracle to ensure reconciliation between systems is accurate.
Backup for the daily audit between the two systems (Oracle and Brightree) which allows for accurate and timely claims submission.
Accountability 3: Metrics
Assist in the weekly preparation of metrics to upper management and the billing team as assigned
Calculate the daily open orders This report is critical to measure and effectively manage the front end processes of the reimbursement team Key Incumbent Requirements: Minimum
High School Diploma or equivalent Ability to read and understand insurance explanation of benefits
Strong analytical skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Must be highly organized and detail oriented.
Intermediate computer skills in various software packages, including Windows XP, specifically Excel and Oracle software.
Ability to work within a team environment and maintain a positive attitude.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with both internal and external customers.
Excellent time management and decision making skills.
Minimum 2 years experience.
